A venik is a small bunch of dried leaves (usually oak or birch) used in the sauna by fanning and tapping on the body. This process boosts circulation, enhances heat transfer to your skin, and aids in muscle relaxation.

We like to say that the sauna seats eight strangers comfortably or ten close friends. We never book more than eight seats in a community session.
-
Yes! We allocate 15 minutes between sessions for wiping down the benches and sweeping/mopping the floor. You may see some leftover leaves under the benches from a previous venik session, but we’ve found that the leaves give off a pleasant aroma.

Most American gym saunas are stuffy, dry, and filthy.
We believe in sauna for the sake of sauna, not as an afterthought to a workout. Here, you can experience the contrast of wood-fired heat and the chill of a natural body of water.
Come see the difference for yourself.

This sauna wasn’t bought. It was built by me, piece by piece, with intention.
I’m Ryan, a Marine Corps veteran who fell in love with real sauna and banya culture while visiting my wife’s hometown in Russia, near the Finnish border.
I built this space because I wanted a place for people to come to slow down, disconnect, and leave feeling great.
